Remember when Khrushchev said; they (the commies) would take us over without firing a shot; and stating at the U.N. that they would bury us. They have continued to increase the number of and improve the quality of their weapon systems. At the same time under the Bush, Clinton, Bush II and Obama regimes we have now lost all of our fully stocked Civil Defense shelters, the capability of air superiority for the next major war and a viable nuclear shield to prevent it. Also, don't forget all the factories and natural resource production/refinement that are needed to sustain a war that have already been closed and many torn down and sold to china for scrap or that have been regulated out of the United States with free trade (this is economic warfare). All without firing a shot. It takes two years to convert back to nuclear weapons. By current treaty 50% must be kept in dock at all times. Think again, it will take at least 1,200 nukes to take out the Ural mountain complex in Russia.  This is just one of thousands of targets that must be destroyed to neutralize the enemy, not to mention those of China. (note that we are only capable of delivering less than 800 nuclear warheads at best and a more accurate number would be about 100. The enemy (S.C.O.) is capable of delivering over 10,000 nuclear weapons.  The Air force requested 700 F-22’s. The executive and legislative branch reduced this number to approximately 120. This short run will cost almost as much as the entire order of 700. To top that off, the Bush administration has delayed the completion of the 120   F-22s to late 2010. The F-35 was meant to be escorted by an F-22, without it computer simulations show that the communist SU-37 will shoot it down like their clubbing a baby seal. The Air Combat Commander (2006) has already stated that; the United States is now 200 Fighter Aircraft short of being able to have air superiority. We have had air superiority since the end of WW2 and without it the infantry will not be able to perform like we have seen in the past. Instead of the enemy having to run and take cover from our air strikes, while our tanks and infantry move in to finish off the enemy. We will now have to take cover from their air strikes. In the next major conflict the shoe could needlessly move onto the other foot . Our casualties of war will be astronomically high compared to today's figures. All because our military has now been designed and converted to dominate over a civilian population (the true reason of Force 21). A population that has small arms like the Iraqis, and they had a lot of good small arms & explosives, more than a civilian is allowed to have here.
